The team and missions: 
Part of the Banking Services &amp; Operations department, the Securities Services Holdings team plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive solutions for the lifecycle of securities transactions.
We cater to a diverse clientele including investment companies, asset managers, and institutional investors like insurance and pension funds. Our team focuses on ensuring operational efficiency and accuracy, actively managing service quality through rigorous controls and proactive problem-solving. We handle complex securities processing, corporate actions, and custody services, interacting closely with clients to address their needs and coordinating with internal departments for seamless service delivery. We are also responsible for maintaining up-to-date documentation and supporting the strategic development of our services to enhance client relationships and drive business growth.

In this context, your main missions will be:
Preparation and processing of information on corporate actions
Recording or approval of securities purchases/sales of registered shares, custody account transfers and changes of address
Processing of corporate actions/income events in euros/currency
Ensuring and exercising deputies as well as one-on-one checks
Reporting and escalating risks and problems on production systems
Communication on a global level with market participants
Consolidation of customer orders
Preparation and control of transaction statements
Execution of balance reconciliations
Processing of requests from internal and external interfaces
Development and documentation of process improvements
Collaboration in department-specific projects

The team and missions:

We support investment companies, asset managers, and institutional investors by ensuring timely and accurate settlement processing. Our team manages the complexities of settlement cycles, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance, maintaining service quality through proactive monitoring and issue resolution. We serve as the primary contact for settlement-related queries and escalations, coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth transaction flows. We are also responsible for maintaining comprehensive settlement records and contributing to process improvements that enhance the efficiency and reliability of our services, thereby supporting the strategic growth of client relationships.

In this context, your main missions will be:

1. Daily Business Tasks:
Securities Settlement: Verifying the content of settlement instructions, facilitating the accurate and timely settlement of securities transactions across domestic and international markets, investigation and clarifying of settlement discrepancies, status controls and processing of settlement confirmations.
Carrying out of realignments of securities 
Security transfers 
Creating daily reports and monthly statistics 
Cash and securities reconciliation 
Tax and fee handling in combination with settlement

2. Project Tasks:

The team and mission:
The Management Control team is part of Finance and is responsible for corporate controlling. You will be integrated in a team of 6 people that will support you to successfully archive your goals.

Your main missions will be the following:

Support in preparing the monthly-/quarterly- and yearly closings (P&amp;L)
Analysis and commenting of the financial results
Assistance in preparing the budget of the next year and in forecasts of the current year
Comparisons of budget figures with actual figures on cost center level
Responsible for handling Controlling tools like MIK, Quantum &amp; Sirius
Assistance regarding projects in Controlling (Implementing of SAP)
Reply to ad-hoc enquiries from Finance group or internal departments

This VIE offer is a unique opportunity for the selected candidate to strenghten his/her knowledge in Finance by discovering 2 teams of Caceis Germany’s Finance Department over the two years of the contract:

For the first year, the VIE will join the Accounting department and will be assigned the following missions:
Support in recurring account control tasks, such as monthly reconciliations, analysis and reporting;
Support in the preparation of monthly regulatory reportings;
Active participation in transversal accounting projects;
Review and improvement of processes, with the goal of reaching efficiencies and a certain level of automation;

During the second year, he/she will switch to the Controlling department and will work on the following topics:
