The Senior Operations Officer, Depositary Operation Services PERES is responsible for the accurate and timely operation of agreed day-to-day processes supporting the transaction management, cash & security tracking, document management and ownership verification functions across the range of PERES structures supported by the business, and for reviewing the work of other administration team members in support of the ‘maker checker’ process control function. What will you do? Accurate and timely input and validation of manual entries to cash and transaction reconciliation logs, collation of investment/divestment papers, and presentation metrics and control data. Ensure essential checks are complete and any outstanding items are recorded and cleared. Respond to all queries from client, auditors and internal stakeholders, in a timely and effective manner and propose solutions for consideration with the agreed governance and change framework. Ensure activities and controls are documented in comprehensive procedures and support the governance and control of the team through the application of professional awareness risk mindset. Act as partner to junior team members (COO and intern) in training them to understand the basic processes and guidelines. Pro-actively proposing ideas/recommendations to enhance processes for increased efficiency in service delivery. Responsible for supporting the ATM/Specialist in guiding the team and serving as the main contact when ATM/Specialist is unavailable.

We are actively recruiting for a Financial Lawyer, based in Montreal, Canada to cover Canadian and transversal legal services for common-law countries. Key Roles & responsibilities: Legal support to the Canadian business (Québec-based): - Advise on commercial, regulatory and corporate matters. - Review, draft and negotiate agreements with internal clients and - Support local governance and corporate filings Support to designated common-law jurisdictions (e.g., Malaysia, United States, Jersey): - Review and negotiate contracts governed by common-law frameworks. - Coordinate with external counsel and internal stakeholders in those jurisdictions. - Provide clear guidance on cross-border risk, documentation requirements and internal approval processes. Roles & responsibilities: As an Operations Officer of the Corporate Actions team, you will be responsible for processing corporate action events at various stages of their lifecycle, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of all related notifications, instructions and transactions. You will work closely with the team to support daily operations and will report directly to the Team Manager, ensuring alignment with departmental goals and industry standards. Review and analyze incoming SWIFT messages related to corporate action events to identify key details, including corporate action type, effective dates, and applicable terms. Announce relevant corporate actions to clients based on the details provided in the incoming messages Process corporate action instructions for voluntary and mandatory with choice events based on SWIFT messages and internal data. The Master Data Services (MDS) Operations Department brings together all functions related to reference data management for the Group. Data Management (DM) specializes in feeding and maintaining up-to-date databases covering security characteristics, prices, corporate actions, and portfolios. MDS is a cornerstone of CACEIS due to its multiple areas of focus (Static Data, Pricing, and Quality Control). As a transversal service, it contributes to all projects (regulatory, accounting, onboarding, etc.). Your Responsibilities Your main mission consists of handling the daily processing of operations managed within the Referential department, specifically: the creation, updating, and control of market data such as financial instruments (bonds: fixed/variable rate, hybrids, convertibles, etc.; equities, warrants, CFDs, futures, options…). Within this scope: You collect instrument details from financial information providers (Bloomberg, Six Financial, Reuters, Clearstream…). You input and update this data daily in dedicated databases (issue date, maturity date, first coupon date, calculation base, coupon schedule, etc.). You check the consistency and quality of information in these databases (using providers, in particular). You investigate, analyze, and resolve anomalies, such as downstream system blockages. You retrieve security events from dedicated databases and monitor corporate actions (mergers, dividend payments, detachment, etc.).\ You respond to requests from various stakeholders (accountants, clients…) via JIRAH and/or email. You manage data flows with financial information providers (Bloomberg, Reuters, Six Financial…) and collect market data for each type of instrument (prices, spreads, coupons, duration, sensitivity, etc.). You integrate and monitor the consistency, quality, and freshness of this data daily in CACEIS databases. To ensure continuity of service to newly acquired North American clients as well as operational activities carried out by CACEIS, such as Fund Administration services, CACEIS Canada is looking for a Fund Accountant to join our Mutual Fund Accounting Team. As a Fund Accountant, you work within a professional team that collectively ensures client satisfaction, by producing accurate fund valuations and optimal net asset value (NAV) for an entire fund range. Your valuations are daily, weekly and monthly and you maintain accurate records, identifying and mitigating business risk. You ensure that key service level agreements, as well as audit and regulatory requirements are met. You will also be responsible for setting up and ensuring the proper distribution of accounting data to our internal and external clients, while also assisting with selected operational activities to support smooth day-to-day delivery. What will you do? Produce consistent and accurate prices for your allocated funds, meeting tight deadlines within service level agreements. Manage feedback to/from departments that will have input into NAV deliverables to ensure client deliverables and quality standards are met. Build strong working relationships with other internal departments such as Quality Assurance, Shareholder Services, Transaction Management, Operations Control, Financial Reporting, Compliance and Information technology. Ensure effective process controls are implemented and evolve them as necessary; escalate issues to management as appropriate. Monitor reporting flows in production: analyzing functional anomalies by carrying out the necessary investigations to provide corrective actions or the necessary and relevant justifications. Configure client requests for standard reporting and analyze client requests to set up specific reports in coordination with the sales teams. Coordinate tasks related to this activity carried out by other teams at CACEIS. Manage recurring weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting cycles, including KPIs, outstanding settlements etc. Assist with the review and resolution of cash and securities breaks by coordinating with relevant teams to close outstanding items.
