The team and missions: 
Part of the Banking Services &amp; Operations department, the Securities Settlement Services team specializes in the efficient and secure settlement of securities transactions.
We support investment companies, asset managers, and institutional investors by ensuring timely and accurate settlement processing. Our team manages the complexities of settlement cycles, reconciliations, and regulatory compliance, maintaining service quality through proactive monitoring and issue resolution. We serve as the primary contact for settlement-related queries and escalations, coordinating with internal departments to ensure smooth transaction flows. We are also responsible for maintaining comprehensive settlement records and contributing to process improvements that enhance the efficiency and reliability of our services, thereby supporting the strategic growth of client relationships.

In this context, your main missions will be:

1. Daily Business Tasks:
Securities Settlement: Verifying the content of settlement instructions, facilitating the accurate and timely settlement of securities transactions across domestic and international markets, investigation and clarifying of settlement discrepancies, status controls and processing of settlement confirmations.
Carrying out of realignments of securities 
Security transfers 
Creating daily reports and monthly statistics 
Cash and securities reconciliation 
Tax and fee handling in combination with settlement

2. Project Tasks:
Support documentation of internal processes 
Participation in workshops to collect and document requirements 
Status reporting and Test support

In the area of fund distribution services, the team supports fund management companies in the distribution of investment fund units on the domestic market to investors and CACEIS clients. 
The team is also responsible for SEPA payment services. SEPA payment types, such as credit transfers and direct debits, are initiated either by CACEIS clients or external parties. 
The team cooperates closely with local CACEIS teams and with CACEIS entities outside Germany. It maintains regular contact with clients, external parties, and other market participants.

Your main responsibilities are to:
 • Process subscriptions and redemptions for investment funds and oversee the end‑to‑end process
 • Assist internal and external CACEIS clients in operational matters, acting as a subject-matter expert
 • Collect, analyze, and prepare data for regulatory and other reporting and information purposes
 • Monitor SEPA payments, act on payments in error status, and escalate or prompt decisions where required
 • Collect and prepare data required for the set-up of new funds and counterparties
 • Respond to inquiries from internal and external parties, conducting investigations and providing answers or redirecting them as appropriate,
 • Resolve open settlement transactions
 • Reconcile open items and identify the root causes of differences and exceptions in cash and units
 • Contribute to the implementation of legal requirements and market best practices
 • Contribute to innovation and automation initiatives, and support related projects and testing activities

Project management
Translate the sponsor's requirements to define the budget, resources and project schedule with the sponsor
Implement oversight indicators
Define and ratify the project's deliverables
Communicate upwards and downwards about the project
Involve and coordinate the parties that interface with the project
Write operational procedures relating to the project
Identify risks that could affect the critical path or cause budget overruns and propose any remedial measures
Coordination of project team and skills development
Contribute to setting the project objectives with the sponsor
Organize and lead working meetings (coordination, workshops, etc.) and produce the associated minutes
Organize regular monitoring meetings with teams and sponsors to collect feedback and provide an update on project progress

Recommend changes to processes and suggest improvements

We cater to a diverse clientele including investment companies, asset managers, and institutional investors like insurance and pension funds. According Business France's eligibility conditions, the Volontariat International en Entreprise (VIE) is an assignment in a French company operating overseas for professionals between the age of 18 and 28 who are European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Iceland und Liechtenstein) nationals.

The team and mission:
The Management Control team is part of Finance and is responsible for corporate controlling. You will be integrated in a team of 6 people that will support you to successfully archive your goals.

Your main missions will be the following:

Support in preparing the monthly-/quarterly- and yearly closings (P&amp;L)
Analysis and commenting of the financial results
Assistance in preparing the budget of the next year and in forecasts of the current year
Comparisons of budget figures with actual figures on cost center level
Responsible for handling Controlling tools like MIK, Quantum &amp; Sirius
Assistance regarding projects in Controlling (Implementing of SAP)
Reply to ad-hoc enquiries from Finance group or internal departments

In this department, combined banking and controlling knowledge is preferable for a better understanding of the working environment.

This VIE offer is a unique opportunity for the selected candidate to strenghten his/her knowledge in Finance by discovering 2 teams of Caceis Germany’s Finance Department over the two years of the contract:

For the first year, the VIE will join the Accounting department and will be assigned the following missions:
Support in recurring account control tasks, such as monthly reconciliations, analysis and reporting;
Support in the preparation of monthly regulatory reportings;
Active participation in transversal accounting projects;
Review and improvement of processes, with the goal of reaching efficiencies and a certain level of automation;
Assistance in various accounting related duties (accounts payables, receivables).

During the second year, he/she will switch to the Controlling department and will work on the following topics:
Support in preparing the monthly-, and yearly end closings (P&amp;L)
Analysis and comment on the financial results
Assistance in preparing planning figures (estimation and budget)
Comparisons of planned with actual figures on cost center level
Responsible for handling Controlling tools like SAP, MIK, Quantum &amp; Sirius

We are looking for a Backend &amp; Integration Java Developer to maintain and evolve a core enterprise application. You will work in a diverse environment, managing integrations with other systems and contributing to the modernization of the platform.
