What will you do?

 

Production and Supervision

  • Oversee and support organization, review and updating of the team’s day to day work of Transaction Management administration and ensuring accurately and timely execution of agreed process.
  • Adhere to key service level agreements and support coaching to GG10 & GG12.
  • Perform quality checks or second level validation on output from the team.
  • All deadlines need to be monitored & any issues escalated & communicated appropriately to stakeholders & clients.
  • Ensure that escalation protocol to Management is strictly adhered to in case of operational issues and events.

 

Monitoring & Escalation

  • Act as escalation point for the Transaction Management oversight, execution of complex process and control functions, ensure high quality of allocated deliverables and providing backup relief to for staff and deal with escalated issues/queries.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to address performance issue and encourage development.
  • Identify and address obstacle or challenges that may impede team progress or performance.
  • Effectively allocate resources where they are needed on a daily basis (i.e. Resource Planning).

 

Risk Management

  • Maintain effective process controls and procedures are documented, maintained and adhere to.
  • Mitigate the risk of errors by suggesting appropriate controls and enhancing procedures.
  • Maintain comprehensive records for future reference and audit purposes.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or master’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field
  • Minimum 4 years in relevant Transaction Management/Custody operational knowledge and experience

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years

Experience

  • Experience in Transaction Management and /or Custody and/or Business Administration, preferably a focus on fund structures
  • Technically proficient shareholder service control and procedural knowledge
  • Robust shareholder services and workflow management experience

Required skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Great analytical and problem-solving skills

Technical skills required

  • Additional automation skills such as VBA, Python, Macro and etc. are an added advantage
