What is the opportunity?

The ETF (Exchange-Traded Funds) Service Department develops investment solutions to help clients reach their financial goals. This position will:

  • Key position within the ETF Services team who are responsible for receipt and processing of ETF Primary Market orders, and related activity, from APs and MMs.
  • Act as a direct point of contact / escalation point for Issuers’ Capital Markets and Operations teams and APs.
  • Maintain strong cooperation with all the stakeholders of CACEIS to deliver operational excellence and best-in-class solutions.


What will you do?

ETF Operations

  • Manage the end-to-end processing of ETF primary market creation and redemption orders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and adherence to service level agreements.
  • Prepare, calculate and validate Primary Market Trading Components (PMTC/Actual Cost), including the review of component securities, quantities and pricing.
  • Produce and validate ETF cash confirmations.
  • Apply expert knowledge of Portfolio Composition Files (PCFs), ETF issuance models (ICSD, ICSD+ and Local CSD) and settlement processes to support operational excellence.
  • Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and in accordance with internal controls, regulatory requirements and operational procedures.


Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary operational contact and escalation point for Authorised Participants (APs), ETF issuers and Capital Markets teams.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver a high standard of client service.
  • Investigate and resolve complex operational queries, exceptions and settlement issues in a timely manner.
  • Lead operational and client service review meetings and support discussions relating to service enhancements and operational improvements.

Operational Excellence

  • Monitor operational quality, productivity and risk metrics, taking ownership of issues and driving timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate process documentation and ensure appropriate operational controls are followed.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce operational risk and enhance efficiency.
  • Support the implementation of new products, regulatory changes and strategic initiatives impacting ETF Operations.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert within the ETF Operations team, providing guidance and support to colleagues where required.
  • Share knowledge and best practice to support team capability and consistency.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence and successful client outcomes.
  • Contribute to projects and change initiatives aligned with the wider ETF strategy

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years

Experience

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience at a Senior level in ETF Transfer Agency (TA), Fund Administration (FA) and/or Custody.
  • Strong understanding of ETF Capital Markets and the ETF operating model required.
  • Demonstrated experience and in-depth knowledge of ETF fund services and operational processes.
  • Expertise of ETF ecosystem, operations, industry trends, and competitor
  • services/offerings
  • Knowledge of Actual Cost structures across Equity and Fixed Income products

Desirable experience & skills

  • Experience working with a leading ETF service provider or asset management organisation.
  • Knowledge of additional Exchange Traded Products (ETPs) and process flows i.e., Exchange Traded Notes (ETNs) and Exchange Traded Commodities (ETCs).

 

Additional requirements

  • Willingness to travel occasionally, primarily to Luxembourg and Paris, as business needs require.
  • French language proficiency is an advantage but not essential.
