Job summary
What is the opportunity?
The intern in Settlements team in the Custody will be learning and task with processing and reporting with accurate and timely settlement of securities transactions. This role involves managing daily operations, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The intern will perform trade repairs, investigate settlement issue for solution, and maintaining high standards of service delivery to clients. This position requires good knowledge in Custody product across a range of processes in Settlements, attention to detail, and strict adherence to all processes stipulated in our operating procedures. Throughout the internship, the intern can expect an experience, growth, and support highly similar to an entry-level full-time employee of Caceis.
Working hours: 9am to 6pm MYT

What will you do?
- Extract reports and investigate trade settlement issues for solution
- Monitor system queue on specific trade statuses
- Perform trade repair in core system to allow accurate and timely trade settlement according to various market deadlines
- Follow up on all trade issues until complete resolution
- Ensure queries received are resolved in timely manner. Where required, queries are followed up diligently until complete resolution
- Escalate operational issues or any abnormality in according to local escalation protocol
- Ensure that all instructions are processed following operating procedure.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- PC literate in MS Office applications Excel
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication
- Good knowledge of various investment instrument not limited to equity, bond, and repo
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
Nice-to-have
- Attitude of always understanding the purpose of a process or control
- Any prior banking experience in operations / Back office is a plus
- Literate in other Microsoft Office applications
- Attention to detail
- Operating as a part of a team
