Within CACEIS Bank, Luxembourg Branch, you will join the Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions (PERES) department, which delivers a comprehensive and tailored service offering to Private Equity, Real Estate and Securitization funds, covering the full lifecycle of alternative investment structures.
In a context of organizational transformation and increasing technical complexity, we are looking for a senior, highly technical and transversal expert to strengthen our teams.

 

Role & Responsibilities

As a Technical Central Administration Expert, you will play a key role in handling complex technical matters, supporting operational teams, contributing to process enhancement, and acting as a technical reference for both internal and external stakeholders.

 

1. Technical expertise, support & decision-making

You will be responsible for analyzing, resolving and supporting complex technical topics related to alternative investment funds, including but not limited to:

  • In-depth analysis of complex technical matters related to Alternative
  • Investment Funds, notably accounting standards, mainly Lux GAAP & IFRS (exposure to US GAAP and UK GAAP considered an asset);
  • Full NAV calculation process, with strong expertise on both liability side (investors, capital calls, distributions, equalization, transfers) and asset side (investment transactions, valuation, custody interactions);
  • Standard and non-standard waterfall and NAV per share/unit modeling (EU and US models);
  • Standard and non-standard management fee and performance fee calculations, including complex fee structures;
  • Analysis and understanding of legal documentation related to alternative fund structures;
  • Strong understanding of fund structuring and transaction schemes in the Alternative Investment industry;
     

2. Training, coaching & knowledge sharing

  • Contributing to the upskilling and technical development of team members within your line of expertise;
  • Designing and delivering training sessions for teams (new joiners but also experienced team members);
  • Adopting a coaching approach when supporting operational teams on complex matters;

Providing technical assistance and representation for CACEIS in:

  • Client meetings and calls;
  • Internal governance meetings;
  • Conferences, workshops or ad-hoc events;
  • Preparing and delivering internal or external presentations on technical topics.

 

3. Projects, Processes & Cross-Functional collaboration

  • Actively contributing to non-recurring, transversal and strategic projects in a transformation context;
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including IT, on:
  • System-related issues;
  • Process optimization;
  • Development and enhancement of reporting tools;
  • Designing, improving and documenting operational processes in collaboration with teams, with the objective of increasing efficiency and robustness.

Compétences recherchées

Technical skills

  • Strong knowledge of Alternative Investment Funds (Private Equity, Real Estate & Securitization);
  • Advanced expertise in accounting and tax topics, including:
  • Accounting standards and practices;
  • Consolidation methods and techniques;
  • Corporate taxation and VAT principles;
  • Lux GAAP and IFRS (US GAAP / UK GAAP considered a plus);
  • Excellent command of accounting techniques;
  • Solid legal and financial knowledge, including:
  • Legal forms and regulatory obligations;
  • Capital increases, investor transactions;
  • Financial instruments and valuation methodologies;
  • Good understanding of CSSF regulations;
  • Strong ability to interact with multiple stakeholders in a complex environment;
  • Strong numerical and analytical mindset.

 

Soft skills

  • High level of autonomy, organization and rigor, with strong attention to detail;
  • Strong ability to prioritize, adapt and manage constraints in a demanding environment;

Outils informatiques

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
  • Knowledge of one or more accounting systems, ideally Yardi Voyager and GPC.

Langues

Fluent in English and French (both written and spoken) is mandatory; German is an advantage
