Summary

CACEIS - a dynamic and progressive member of the Crédit Agricole Group - is one of Europe’s leading asset servicing providers to institutional and corporate clients. CACEIS has over 3,200 employees worldwide. CACEIS Bank, UK Branch was recently set up to provide Depositary services to UCITS and Alternative Investment Funds.

As a result of new business, the UK Branch is seeking to hire a Client Service Manager to oversee its Global Custody service proposition with clients. These clients could be UCITS clients where the Custody service proposition forms part of a wider service model or Asset Owners seeking a standalone Custody service.

 

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities and tasks of the Client Service Manager are as follows:

 

Operational Oversight  & Client Service Excellence

Resolve all service issues arising by working with the clients and the relevant CACEIS Operational teams based in France and / or Luxembourg.
Act as a UK contact for the CACEIS Operational teams, including but not limited to: Custody, Banking, Fund Distribution (Funds Custody), Front Office Solutions and FX.
Represent the UK Branch at the regular service meetings with the Operational Lines and the Outstandings Committee.
Adhere to all relevant local policies and procedures.
Lead the operational (ex Fund Accounting) service relationship with a portfolio of UK Branch clients and their appointed service providers.
Ensure the referenceability of the clients of the UK Branch.

 

Projects

Lead and / or support client projects on behalf of the UK Branch, including new client implementation, fund or portfolio launches and new market opening

 

Regulatory

In conjunction with the UK Head of Compliance & Risk, establish and deliver reporting in support of the UK Branch CASS (Client Money) responsibilities.

 
Compliance

Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal compliance and risk requirements, including, but not limited to, the Group and UK Compliance and the Financial Crime Prevention Policies.
Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role.
Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

High school / Secondary school / A levels / AS levels / IB

Academic qualification / Speciality

Relevant UK (or equivalent) educational qualifications.

Required skills

experience in the asset servicing industry, with at least five in Custody Operational and / or Oversight roles.

Comprehensive understanding of operational processes including settlements and payments services.

Proven experience of client service management, including the facilitation of client service review meetings.

Good knowledge of current regulatory developments affecting the UK Fund and Asset Management industries.

Clear communicator, both written and oral.

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to work well under pressure.

Flexible and proactive, willing to contribute to the growth of a small office.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
Fluent written and spoken English and French within the professional working environment.

Strong experience with Microsoft Office.
