What is the opportunity?

CACEIS was set up in Cyberjaya, Malaysia in July 2023 with approximately 1,000 employees, with the acquisition of RBC investor Services’ European business and Malaysia centre of excellence.

As a centre of excellence, the team in Malaysia provides asset services, custody and payments for clients in Europe (Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Switzerland and United Kingdom) with a global operating model that maximises efficiencies across time zones, supports 17/5 operational capability with follow the sun model, enhances scalability of our global operations and the implementation of standardized processes.

 

Specific to Data Service Delivery Team, this role will be associated to 3 main processes Global Security Master File, Data Management in MILVUS & Projects within this department.

Working hours: 9:00AM – 6:00PM

 

What will you do?

  • The Manager RIPA SME will act as a business expert to the DSD department and will be involved in ensuring a smooth transition to CACEIS with the highest level of accuracy is achieved in daily BAU and the adherence of process controls and internal policies & procedures.
  • Continue to identify and address the gaps that arises during the transition and to ensure data quality is delivered.

 

Operational Excellence

  • To ensure tracking, documenting, and reporting issues arising from transition with appropriate action plan for each logs.
  • Monitor, maintain and analyze problem logs to identify and report recurring issues to management.

 

Participation in Transformation & Change

  • Participate in testing of system enhancements and changes and provide recommendations and constructive solutions for issue as that arise.
  • Develop and support process improvement initiatives and process optimization to enhance quality and productivity.

 

Communication & Leadership Excellence

  • Maintain efficient communication channels with BAU managers, Program and CACEIS SMEs including cross location aspects.
  • Design and deliver training solutions, to grow the Global Client Operations knowledge in various roles. Include guidelines to coordinate DSD transition and migrations.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Bachelor's Degree in related field.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Knowledge in investment instrument types.
  • Extensive experience of 5 years working with Securities Master File with Managerial Level in this field.
  • Global Data Reference service-related applications
  • Project Management experience

 Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge in data vendors i.e. Bloomberg / Telekurs / FTID / Reuters.
  • PMP Certification
