Job summary

CACEIS Investor Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones. Malaysia is one of two operational processing hubs that supports Custody - Transaction Management; Settlements; NAV Production; Fund Reporting; Shareholder Services; Global Fund Platform Services; Data Service Delivery; Entitlements – income and corporate actions and Reconciliations. The country employs a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 20/5 operational capability. The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of our global operations, improve service quality via our ‘centres of excellence’ and to implement/leverage standard processes globally.

Working Hours: 3pm -12am /4pm -1am

  • To prepare and process Shareholder Services transactions as per defined procedures, whilst meeting Client service level agreements & team KPI’s /KQI’s.
  • Being responsible for accuracy and punctuality of data sent to Fund Managers.
  • Work in collaboration/interact with other teams within the Shareholder Services department and other teams within the company.
  • Responsible for assisting the Supervisor to lead the team and being the point of contact in the absence of supervisor to ensure complete shift coverage.

Processing Transaction
Trades
• Input all types of transactions such as subscriptions, redemptions, transfers and switches from documents queued in the related Documentum baskets into the Sara application.
• Validate the transactions input in Sara by another team member.
• Make corrections to transactions entered in SARA where appropriate by adhering Blind Trade Validation Protocol.
• Report transaction order and entry issues to the relevant parties where necessary
• Update the status of transactions in Documentum following entry and validation in SARA
• Attach transaction entry to relevant item stored in Documentum
• Ensure all trades received prior to cutoff processed accurately prior to deadlines
• Check all the transaction documents in Documentum have reached the “checked” status.
• Check all the outstanding documents in Documentum and support with proper justification.
Dispatching
• Accurately identify types of documents (instructions) received into Documentum and dispatch them to the relevant workflow basket.
• Review and monitor the client queue to ensure a high level of service
• Monitor all baskets to ensure workflow is maintained and all items actioned within SLA.
• Check signatures against appropriate documents, working in collaboration with Compliance and Register Management.
• Adhere to the NIGO process during dispatching.

    Electronic Dealing.
  • Processing and checking of function dependent on file upload.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

Undergraduate or Mater degree in accounting, finance or any other related fields.
