What is the Opportunity?

CACEIS is a processing centre of Operational Excellence supporting various countries across multiple geographical time zones. Malaysia is one of the four production centres that supports various functions across Funds Services, Custody, Market Solutions and PERES. The country employs a global operating model to maximize efficiencies across time zones and supports an 18 hours operational capability. The Objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of our global operations, improve service quality via our “centre of excellence” and to implement/leverage standard processes globally.

The CACEIS Consulting teams Objective is to ensure all the group projects are delivered in accordance to the timeline and budget and ensuring a seamless transition is achieved during the change. The team supports both local and global projects

The team would also be required to own, lead and oversee key projects within Malaysia Operations and ensure strategic goals or objectives are accomplished within approved time frames, scope and budget. Independently manage time critical projects, provide support to requirement gathering, post deployment support and maintenance

What will you do?

As an intern, you will be required to own actions and assist the Project Managers with key projects within Malaysia operations and globally to ensure strategic goals and objectives are completed within approved time frames, scope and budget. You should also be able to independently manage time critical actions, provide support to requirement gatherings and to be involved with post deployment support and maintenance.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Banking, Finance, Information Technology, or related fields.

Level of minimal experience

0-2 years

Experience

  • Basic understanding of project management and coordination principles.
  • Exposure to Operational Excellence and Quality concepts through coursework.
  • Familiarity with Banking, Finance, or Information Technology through academic.
  • Interest in pursuing Project Management in the future.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to support stakeholder management and conflict resolution.
  • Good time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; result-oriented, self-driven, with a high energy level and an analytical, structured thought process.
  • Participation in or support of large-scale projects during academic.

Required skills

  • Ability to learn End to End process to identify and coordinate process changes which align to specific timelines and requirements
  • Participation in or support of large-scale projects during academic
  • Exposure to drafting proposals and business cases through coursework 
  • Hands-on experience or coursework in end-user requirement gathering, creating user stories, and assisting in the creation and execution of test cases.
  • Excellent communication skills; result-oriented, self-driven, with a high energy level and an analytical, structured thought process.
  • Ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Technical skills required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, including basic knowledge of MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, and MS Access.
