What will you do?
Production and Supervision
- Oversee and supervise day-to-day processes supporting the cash processing for Depository Operations and Investor Services, cash & security tracking, breaks management and investigation of cash across a range of Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions structures, including input and validation of manual cash entries and presentation of metrics and control data.
- Ensure essential checks are complete and any outstanding items are recorded and cleared.
- Adhere to key service level agreements and support coaching to junior team members (COO, SCOO and intern).
- Perform quality checks or second level validation on output from the team.
- All deadlines need to be monitored, any issues escalated and communicated appropriately to stakeholders and clients.
- Ensure the escalation protocol to Management is strictly adhered to in case of operational issues & events.
- Responsible for supporting the manager in guiding the team and serving as the main contact when manager is unavailable.
Monitoring & Escalation
- Act as escalation point for the Cash Services oversight, execution of complex process and control functions, ensure high quality of allocated deliverables and providing backup relief to staff and deal with escalated issues/queries.
- Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to address performance issue and encourage development.
- Identify and address obstacle or challenges that may impede team progress or performance.
- Effectively allocate resources where they are needed on a daily basis (i.e. Resource Planning).
Risk Management
- Maintain effective process controls and procedures are documented, maintained and adhere to.
- Mitigate the risk of errors by suggesting appropriate controls and enhancing procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive records for future reference and audit purposes.
