Job summary

What is the opportunity?

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our HR team in assisting in all areas of HR operations including but not limited to onboarding/offboarding activities, delivering key insights, managing training compliance, producing timely reports across the organization on various topics and creating presentations, CANVA graphics and communications as needed. This role combines analytical tasks with cross-functional support, including administrative assistance and preparing presentations for senior management.

 What will you do?

HR Administration

  • Owning onboarding/offboarding activities including updating a monthly checklist
  • Complying with audit requirements
  • Answering employee queries and managing the HR mailbox
  • Insure invoices are sent for processing in a timely manner and tracked accordingly
  • Support with new hire onboarding inductions and training
  • Managing the tracking of family leave
  • Update our HR system as required
  • Support and track all educational support applications
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives
  • Assist with recruitment including interview scheduling and CV screening
  • Ad-hoc office administration as required

Training Compliance

  • Monitor and track completion of all mandatory training across the organisation.
  • Liaise with managers and employees to ensure training requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Generate regular training compliance reports and escalate areas of concern when necessary.

 Executive Support & Presentation Preparation & Event Management

  •  Develop clear, data-driven slide decks and visuals for Senior Management Team (SMT) meetings.
  • Ensure people-related updates are presented accurately and delivered on time.
  • Assist with different initiatives and event organization, including drafting presentations or communications.

 

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Studies or similar
  • Previous experience in a HR analytics, reporting, or people operations role
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and HR information/reporting systems
  • High attention to detail and comfort working with data
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure
  • Growth and positive mindset is key
  • Excellent written and oral English
  • Excellent team work skills
  • Proven organisational and time management skills.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and solution orientated approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Nice-to-have

  • Experience supporting senior leadership or board-level reporting.
  • Familiarity with training compliance platforms.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
  • Experience working with Canva
