The Corporate Premises, Procurement, and Occupational Safety & Health (CPP&OSH) function ensures seamless operational support through facilities management, procurement processes, and occupational safety & health initiatives.

We are seeking a certified Safety Manager to lead and manage the company’s occupational safety and health (OSH) initiatives. This role is ensuring compliance with statutory safety regulations, driving a strong safety culture, and supporting cross-functional workplace initiatives.

The successful candidate must be registered with DOSH as Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator. While the primary focus will be on OSH, the role is hybrid in nature and will support broader corporate premises initiatives including renovations, office planning, and emergency response readiness.

This is a high-impact role for a safety professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a hands-on approach to implementing and maintaining safety standards across a dynamic office environment.

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Certified Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator (registered with DOSH Malaysia).

Level of minimal experience

6-10 years

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • 5–8 years of experience in OSH or EHS roles, preferably in a corporate or office-based environment.
  • Sound knowledge of Malaysian safety legislation (e.g., OSHA 1994, FMA 1967).
  • Experience managing site inspections, safety audits, and emergency readiness.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage cross-functional safety requirements in a matrix environment.
  • Familiar with MyKKP portal and its requirement.

 

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience supporting office fit-out or renovation projects from a safety perspective.
  • Background in a financial institution or multinational corporate environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001 or other OSH-related standards.
  • Experience running employee safety awareness campaigns or trainings.
