As Product Owner at CACEIS, you will maximise the value delivered by our products and services by taking ownership of a clear, well-prioritised Product Backlog. Together with stakeholders and agile teams, you will ensure that the product vision is clear, value is understood and measured, and attention is focused on the work with the greatest impact.

The products and services you will help shape are part of the CACEIS Pension Centre (CPC). CPC provides specialised services to pension funds, insurers and other institutional investors across Europe. Through our modular front-to-back service model, we operate as an extension of our clients’ asset management organisations, supported by an in-depth understanding of asset management, investment strategies and investment processes.

Your work will focus on the services and processes supported by SimCorp Dimension. By bringing together different perspectives, you will determine which improvements create the greatest value, balancing client needs and business growth with operational efficiency, regulatory requirements, incident reduction and risk management. Through the priorities you set, you will provide clarity for our agile teams and contribute to the quality and continued development of our investment services.

What will you do as a Product Owner?

• Translate the product vision into clear product goals and a focused roadmap that provides direction to the agile teams and stakeholders
• Create, maintain and prioritise a transparent Product Backlog, ensuring that items are clear, complete, testable and ready before work begins
• Use product KPIs, incident trends, client feedback and operational insights to balance client impact and business value with operational efficiency, regulatory requirements, risk reduction, technical debt and required effort
• Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders and end users, bring together their needs, manage expectations and clearly explain your priorities, decisions and trade-offs
• Work closely with the agile teams and play an active role in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives, providing clarification and making timely product decisions
• Divide backlog items into manageable, testable and releasable increments and assess their readiness for release based on acceptance criteria, testing and relevant risk controls. Support smooth deployment and use feedback and production performance to guide further improvements
• Ensure that regulatory, compliance, security and operational-resilience requirements are reflected in the Product Backlog and support the stability and continuity of our services
• Monitor product performance, promote continuous improvement and identify opportunities to automate, simplify and standardise processes, while sharing best practices in Product Ownership and Agile ways of working

• Help establish CPC’s Product Increment Planning process by setting clear objectives for each planning period, preparing the highest-priority backlog items and aligning dependencies across Agile Teams.

• A completed bachelor’s degree
• At least eight years of relevant professional experience. Experience in asset servicing, investment services or the broader financial sector is an advantage
• Strong working knowledge of SimCorp Dimension is essential for this role.
• The ability to develop and communicate a clear vision, set priorities and make well-considered decisions in a complex environment
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, combined with the ability to bring together different perspectives, build support and explain choices clearly
• An analytical and data-driven approach that enables you to assess value, impact and risk and turn insights into practical actions
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to translate complex needs into clear, complete and actionable backlog items
• A collaborative and adaptable mindset, a strong sense of ownership and the drive to turn plans into tangible results
• You can communicate effectively in English. Proficiency in Dutch is an advantage
• Product Owner training is an advantage, as is certification in Product Ownership or Scrum
