Missions

Within CACEIS Bank – Luxembourg Branch, you will join the Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions (PERES) department, which provides a comprehensive range of services to Private Equity, Real Estate, and Securitisation funds, tailored to each investment strategy.

As a Team Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Accounting activity, leading and supervising the team, and contributing to the development of the service.

Your main responsibilities will include:


Activity Management

  • Understand, implement, and operationalise the priorities defined by senior management or the department head;
  • Define operational priorities, set team objectives and deadlines, and organise the workload accordingly;
  • Ensure tasks are completed in line with quality standards, timelines, and performance objectives, notably through the use of KPIs;
  • Provide technical guidance and expertise to the team in accounting and consolidation matters;
  • Ensure service continuity by anticipating resource needs;
  • Monitor the alignment between workload volumes and allocated resources;
  • Prepare regular reporting for management and escalate risks, issues, or bottlenecks as appropriate;
  • Communicate updates to processes and procedures and ensure their effective implementation;
  • Act as the main escalation point for clients and oversee relationships with clients and investors.


Team Management

  • Build positive and constructive working relationships within the team and across departments;
  • Foster team spirit, motivate team members, and support them when challenges arise;
  • Train team members and contribute to the development of their skills and expertise;
  • Define individual objectives and assess team members’ performance;
  • Involve the team in reflections and decision-making processes;
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of new team members.
  • You may also be involved in non-recurring and cross-functional projects.

Niveau d'études minimum

Bac + 5 / M2 et plus

Formation / Spécialisation

  • Higher education degree in Audit, Accounting, or Finance (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent);

Niveau d'expérience minimum

6 - 10 ans

Expérience

  • 5+ years of experience in general accounting, preferably within Private Equity and/or Real Estate funds;
  • Proven experience in team management, coaching, or team leadership;

Compétences recherchées

 

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of investment funds, securities, and Real Estate activities;
  • Solid accounting and tax expertise, including accounting standards, booking techniques, consolidation methods, corporate taxation, VAT, IFRS and Lux GAAP;
  • Excellent command of accounting principles and techniques;
  • Good legal and financial knowledge, including legal structures, regulatory obligations, capital increase processes, financial instruments, and valuation methodologies;
  • Strong numerical skills and comfort working with figures.


Soft Skills

  • Well-organised, detail-oriented, and rigorous;
  • Able to manage priorities effectively, with flexibility in a demanding environment;
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both internally and with clients and external stakeholders;
  • Demonstrated leadership and initiative;
  • Ability to anticipate issues, plan ahead, and respond effectively.
     

 

Outils informatiques

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel;
  • Knowledge of one or more accounting systems, including BOB50, GPC, or YARDI;
  • Knowledge of a consolidation tool, ideally Mona (Sigma).

Langues

Fluency in English and French is mandatory; Knowledge of German is considered an advantage.
