Job summary

The Business Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Project Manager with planning, executing, delivering large and complex projects of significance for the CACEIS Group and Country.  This role requires you to be able to independently manage time critical actions, provide support to data requirement gatherings and to be involved with post deployment support and maintenance.

 

Key responsibilities of this include, but not limited to:

 

Project Delivery

  • Support Project Manager on end-to-end project lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Support Project Manager to develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and schedules.
  • Support Project Manager to monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder & Governance

  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, clients, and regulators.
  • Provide regular project status updates and governance reports.
  • Facilitate working groups and steering committee meetings and decision-making forums.

Change Management

  • Support Project Manager on organisational change initiatives, including training, communications, and process adoption.
  • Ensure smooth transition from project to BAU operations.

Operational & Technical Alignment

  • Work with IT, Operations, and Product teams to ensure technical solutions meet business needs.
  • Oversee user acceptance testing, data migration, and system cutovers.

Regulatory & Risk

  • Support Project Manager to ensure project delivery meets all relevant compliance, legal, and risk standards.
  • Partner with compliance teams to address jurisdiction-specific requirements.

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Banking, Finance, Information Technology, or related fields.

0-2 years

Experience

  • 1-2 years exposure to project management and demonstrated ability to multitask effectively.

  • Ability to converse in English well

  • Basic understanding of project management and coordination principles.

  • Exposure to Operational Excellence and Quality concepts through coursework or internships.

  • Familiarity with Banking, Finance, or Information Technology through academic projects or internships.
