Job summary

As a Performance, Risk & Compliance Reporting Officer at CACEIS NL, you will be part of a dedicated team of 11 professionals committed to delivering insightful analyses and reports. Together, you ensure that the performance, risks, and compliance of investment portfolios for both Dutch and international clients are made transparent. In this role, you will work closely with involved colleagues across various departments and international teams.

What will you do as a Performance, Risk & Compliance Reporting Officer?

  • Calculate the performance, risk, and compliance of investment portfolios for Dutch and international clients, with a strong involvement in UK-related reporting.
  • Prepare, analyse and deliver performance, risk, and ESG reports across multiple dimensions.
  • Analyse returns, identify deviations from benchmarks and resolve data discrepancies by investigating calculations, configurations and chain processes.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear insights for internal stakeholders and clients, adding value through storytelling with numbers.
  • Onboard and support new clients by mapping out their needs, aligning with senior colleagues for more complex matters when necessary.
  • Conduct compliance analyses based on investment policies and communicate with clients about achieved returns and compliance breaches.
  • Contribute to service and data quality improvements by analysing processes and defining practical enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and international CACEIS entities, contributing to cross-departmental initiatives, while taking ownership of analyses and actively contributing to knowledge sharing and team development.

What do you need to get started as a Performance, Risk & Compliance Reporting Officer?

  • A completed bachelor’s degree (HBO/WO) in a quantitative field such as mathematics, econometrics, or finance.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the financial sector, preferably with experience in data analysis (e.g., experience with performance and risk analyses).
  • Knowledge of financial markets , investment products and cost structures is a plus.
  • Experience with financial data analysis, data quality and underlying calculations; advanced Excel skills and experience with large datasets. Knowledge of VBA, Python or SimCorp Dimension is a plus.
  • Experience with CTI (Cost Transparency Initiative), GIPS (Global Investment Performance Standards) or similar framework is considered a plus.
  • You can translate complex quantitative analyses into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch is considered a plus.
  • You work independently on reports and analyses, consulting senior colleagues when facing more complex challenges.
  • You have an affinity for project-based work and actively contribute to improvement initiatives and agile streams
  • You are a true team player and natural connector who is customer-oriented, flexible, and resilient under pressure, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • You are available for 36 hours per week.
