The VIE contract in short:
According Business France's eligibility conditions, the Volontariat International en Entreprise (VIE) is an assignment in a French company operating overseas for professionals between the age of 18 and 28 who are European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Iceland und Liechtenstein) nationals.

The team and mission:
The Controlling team is part of the Finance function and is responsible for corporate controlling. You will be integrated in a team of 5 people that will support you to successfully achieve your goals.
Your main missions will be divided into the following categories of tasks:
Controlling:
- Preparation of monthly results
- Support for the preparation of the monthly-/quarterly- and yearly closing balances (P&L) including the reporting to the Head office in Paris
- Analysis and commenting of the financial results
- Assistance for the budget planning and preparation of during the year forecasts
- Comparisons of budget figures with actual figures for cost center units
- Assistance for several projects like results, activities by business lines
Relationship management:
- Replying to ad-hoc enquiries of several internal departments
In this department, combined banking and controlling knowledge is preferable for a better understanding of the working environment.

A first experience (internship, apprenticeship or full-time job) in Controlling and/or Banking would be highly appreciated
