Job summary

What is the opportunity?

We are seeking a certified Safety Manager to lead and manage the company’s occupational safety and health (OSH) initiatives.
While the primary focus will be on OSH, the role is hybrid in nature and will support broader corporate premises and procurement initiatives including renovations, office planning, and ESG.
This is a high-impact role for a safety professional with strong stakeholder engagement skills and a hands-on approach to implementing and maintaining safety standards across a dynamic office environment.

Occupational Safety & Health (OSH)

  • Lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company’s OSH management system in compliance with DOSH regulations.
  • Serve as the company’s appointed Safety and Health Coordinator for CACEIS Malaysia head office.
  • Conduct regular workplace risk assessments, workplace inspections, and ensure execution of appropriate control measures to mitigate risks.
  • Manage the Emergency Response Team (ERT) structure – including training, scheduling, and drills; ensuring roles are clearly defined and team readiness is maintained.

Corporate Premises Support

  • Provide safety input for renovation projects, facilities improvements, and layout planning.
  • Assist in executing annual fire drills, evacuation planning, and liaising with Fire & Building authorities.
  • Contribute to safety-related aspects of sustainability and wellness initiatives (e.g., indoor air quality, ergonomic reviews).

Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities including RFP/RFQ processes, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Establish and monitor supplier KPIs for performance, cost savings, service quality, and compliance.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including governance frameworks and performance reviews.
  • Ensure procurement practices align with internal policies, ESG standards, and risk management protocols.

Stakeholder Engagement & Governance

  • Partner with internal departments to understand safety needs and promote safe workplace practices.
  • Ensure governance of safety documentation, records, and audit readiness in compliance with local regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate and support OSH Committee meetings, ensuring actions are tracked and escalated where needed.
  • Liaise with building management and regulatory authorities (e.g. DOSH, BOMBA) for inspections, drills, and compliance matters.

Managerial Excellence

  • Maintain clear documentation, reporting frameworks, and compliance tracking for safety-related KPIs.
  • Promote a safety-first culture by actively engaging with employees, vendors, and stakeholders across the office.

Safety Planning and Continuous Improvement

  • Stay updated on changes to OSH laws, guidelines, and industry practices to ensure ongoing compliance and best-in-class standards.
  • Continuously assess and improve safety practices, procedures, and communication tools.
