Where will you be working?

As a Front Office Support employee you will be responsible for the first line support for our front-to-back clients trading activities. The team will consist of 3 professionals who will be the first point of contact for our front-to-back clients. The Front Office team plays a crucial role in the communication between the client, IT and the Investment Administration of the CACEIS Pension Centre (CPC). You will be answering questions from clients Portfolio Managers with regards to the Front Office Modules in Simcorp Dimension. In your role you will offer the client the best possible client focussed service and provide solutions for our client’s questions and or issues. Communication will be over the phone and via e-mail but also on site during Walk-the-Floor sessions during which we train and discuss possible solutions for our clients. To integrate/mitigate/productionize those solutions you will be in close contact with your colleagues from IT, Middle Office, Fund Accounting and other Business Lines within the CPC.

The Front Office Support team is part of the CACEIS Pension Centre (CPC) within CACEIS NL Branch. CPC specializes in full trade cycle support, administration and reporting services for pension funds, family offices and insurance companies in Europe. In servicing these client groups with a professional and client focused skill set, the CPC acts as extension of the Asset Manager. The CPC DNA is an Asset Management DNA; a thorough understanding of Asset Management processes, investment strategies and investment procedures.

What will your activities be as a Front Office support Specialist?

  • Offering first line support to mainly client’s Portfolio Managers with regards to the Front Office modules within Simcorp Dimension which CACEIS provides as a service to our clients.
  • Offering first line support to clients with regards to other investment related questions.
  • Sparring partner for Portfolio Managers on the administration within Dimension.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings to create operational efficiencies and optimize the use of the Front Office modules in Dimension which CACEIS offers to front-to-back clients.
  • Organizing and participating in Walk-the-floor sessions in which we provide training and consult on the Front Office modules and Front Office related processes within Simcorp Dimension.
  • Contribute and consult in the roll-out of client initiated changes.
  • Monitoring of incoming and outgoing order and transaction flows in Simcorp Dimension to external trading platforms like FX ALL and Tradeweb and brokers. This includes:
    - Analysing trade flows relevant for our clients like order routing, order instruction, order cancellation and  order execution messages.
    - Offering support for order connectivity to trading platforms using FIX protocol and Swift messages.
  • Being the link between the client and trading platforms to support trading.

What qualifications do you need to start as a Front Office support Specialist?

  • Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent.
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience within the financial sector.
  • Being able to make informed decisions, to prioritize and act/escalate quickly in case of issues with Front Office related services.
  • Self-starter with an analytical mind, being able to work methodically with a large focus on servicing the client; “Think Client”.
  • Ability to work independent but also be a team player as you are part of a small team.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Dutch and English.
  • Knowledge and experience with Front Office related tooling and connectivity is a pre.
  • Experience with SimCorp Dimension and the Front Office Modules is a pre.
