Missions

The IT Reporting is in charge of group wide and transversal reporting both internally and externally (clients / compliance / legal / control).

The Head of Unit is the front line of IT towards business all around the world : Honk Kong / Luxembourg / France / Germany / Holland / UK and others.

The Head of Unit has a good critical thinking to challenge requirements and bring the solutions to production in good timing, according to budget and provide insights on infrastructure and flows.

The Head of Unit will also have to be a force of proposals for onboarding new technologies and innovative solutions.

The Head of Unit is in charge :

  1. Gathering requirements from different departments
  2. Ensuring planning handling and capacity
  3. Pilot the migration of obsolete of hardware, middleware and software obsolescence to new technologies
  4. Of technical solution proposals
  5. Ensure legal compliance & the CACEIS security standards
  6. Tracking progress and alert on blocking point
  7. Assist business in their prioritization
  8. Assist the team in their activities and projects
  9. Assist in support and incident management
  10. Project Management
  11. Follow the teams to increase their knowledge, evolution in the CACEIS group.
  12. Ensure that backups are available in the team.

The Head of Unit will report to the Head of IT line of General secretary of Operations and Head of IT Luxembourg

Niveau d'études minimum

Bac + 4 / M1

Formation / Spécialisation

Information systems and banking/ Finance (middle / back office in investor services)

Niveau d'expérience minimum

6 - 10 ans

Expérience

Solid experience in technical analysis, business analysis, project management and team management, 

Advance knowledge in the investment banking services (fund accounting & administration / management / reporting, clearing /settlement / accounting security and cash),

Solid experience in technical development on oracle & datastage, 

Experience in big data technologies (datalake, cloud Azur, vertica, attunity),

The candidate is trained to project management methodologies such as AGILE / ITIL and change management.

Compétences recherchées

  • Able to handle functional design, bring solutions, manage / drive user acceptance tests
  • Able to integrate efficiently new topics and softwares
  • Independent, efficient and driver of functional solutions and reactive to situations
  • Manage planning, capacity and resource allocation
  • Good knowledge in investment banking services
  • Project certification (e.g. Agile / ITIL) is a big plus
  • Able to align different third parties such as service providers, business lines, IT team
  • Quality and cost driven

  • Capacity to adapt to various cultures
  • Able to create a good team spirit and agreeable work environment
  • Good communication skills towards sponsors, team and management and other IT teams

    - Standard office tools
  • Datalake / cloud technologies (AZUR) is a big plus
  • Reporting tools (e.g. Microstrategy) or business intelligence softwares (PowerBI / SAS)
