What will you do?

Production

  • Accurate and timely execution of agreed day-to-day processes supporting the cash processing for Depository Operations and Investor Services, cash & security tracking, breaks management and investigation of cash across a range of Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions structures, including input and validation of manual cash entries and presentation of metrics and control data.
  • Ensure essential and tolerance checks are complete and any outstanding items are investigated, recorded and cleared.
  • Perform quality checks or second level validation on output from the team.
  • Conduct training to Client Operations Officer and Intern.
  • Perform additional ad-hoc task allocated by Assistant Manager and/or Manager.
  • Responsible for supporting the supervisor in guiding the team and serving as the main contact when supervisor is unavailable.

Queries

  • Respond to all queries and incoming emails in a timely and effective manner.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with other teams within CACEIS Investor Services.
  • Support the success of the larger team and ensure ongoing productivity by providing back-up relief for staff who are absent or on leave.

Policy and Procedure Review

  • Ensure activities and controls are documented in comprehensive procedures and support the governance and control of the team through the application of professional awareness risk mindset.
  • Ensure all documents are carefully reviewed capturing all instructions and information accurately.
  • Ensure all deadlines are met with defined benchmark.

Candidate criteria

Minimal education level

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent

Academic qualification / Speciality

  • Minimum 2 years in relevant operational knowledge and experience
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or master’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field

Level of minimal experience

3-5 years

Experience

  • Experience in Transaction Management and /or Custody and/or Business Administration with a focus on financial services and preferably fund structure
  • Fund and general administration procedural knowledge

Required skills

  • Fast learner and positive attitude with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team to achieve collective goals
  • Ability to prioritize team workloads to meet challenging deadlines

Technical skills required

  • Transaction Management system knowledge: NXG, Olis, Caciopay or equivalent applications
  • Additional automation skills such as VBA, Python, Macro and etc. are an added advantage
