What will you do?
- Support the Malaysia Accounting & Change function through quality and efficient financial accounting, control and reporting of Malaysia entities.
- Complete Statutory and Regulatory filings and designated Finance and Head Office reporting in a timely manner.
- Support process improvements in Accounting & Change in line with industry best practices for efficiency and control.
- Contribute to the Finance business partnering in Malaysia in support of country and business strategies.
- Maintain the financial accounting records for Malaysia. This includes, but not limited to: review and commentary of the non-trading P&L, monthly balance-sheet attestation and preparation/ review of Non-Interest Expense (NIE) and balance sheet journals.
- Prepare reporting in line with CACEIS and statutory requirements, e.g. Standard of Documentation packages, IFRS, GL attestation, home surveys, and Finance and Tax submissions to home authorities.
- Complete designated reporting on a daily, monthly, quarterly or annual basis as required. This includes the production of materials for Business and Function partners, Ops. Risk Committees, Asia Consolidated P&L and financial reporting for Management Committees and Boards.
- Enhance the business partnering capabilities of Malaysia Finance in support of country and business strategies.
